First introduced in Asia, microblading, also first known as eyebrow embroidery, is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that dramatically corrects or fully construct/reconstruct lost eyebrow hairs. It looks so real, it is often referred to as 3D or hairstroke tattoo. It can help define, shape, and create fullness in the eyebrow area.
Microblading is performed by manually depositing pigment under the top layer of the skin by a special pen with a one-time use sterile needle. It does not involve use of any machine. Unlike permanent makeup brow treatment, Microblading technique involves drawing individual, crisp hair strokes that are more natural looking. The blade of microblading pen is 3 times thinner than the needles used for tattooing and does not go as deeply into the skin. Therefore, the pain is considerably less and the results are semi-permanent.
In addition to, body tattoos use ink while cosmetic tattoo procedures involve pigments. These pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is desired as it allows the artist to make changes to color and shape over the years as client’s natural coloration and facial changes occur.
Results can stay up to 2.5 years, but can vary depending on skin type (melanin), age, sun exposure, and products used on your face. Retouching is common and should be expected. Color of eyebrow pigment is all dependent upon your skintone and hair color and roots. We have multiple tones and pigments to choose from.

How long does the healing process take?
It is completely normal to experience some tenderness and swelling immediately following the procedure and for a few days after. The pigment will appear darker and more vibrant than how it will actually look when it is healed. Healing durations vary with each person but generally take between 5 to 8 days. Other than the slight sensitivity to the treated area, healing is normally painless.
How long does it last?
Although permanent makeup lasts for years allowing you to focus on more important matters, the exact length of time varies depending on skin type, lifestyle and exposure to the sun. To maximize the duration, please follow the after treatment care provided above and try and always cover treated area when in the sun.
RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PERMANENT MAKE UP
Permanent skin pigmentation procedure carries with it known and unknown complications and consequences associated with this type of cosmetic procedure, including but not limited to; infection, scarring, inconsistent color, and spreading, fanning or fading of pigments. Corneal abrasions are a rare side effect, especially if I rub or scratch my eyes or apply contacts too soon after any eyeliner procedure. The actual color of the pigment may modify slightly, due to the tone and color of your skin.
