Eyebrow microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure where a special handheld microblading eyebrow pen is used to draw on individual hair-like strokes that mimic the appearance of real brow hairs opposed to a penciled look. This is also known as 3D microblading, feathering, hair-strokes, etc. While it’s a similar process to getting a tattoo, the ink that is used is far less concentrated than that of a regular tattoo and is specifically formulated for the microblading process.
The results are lighter compared to shading and unfortunately not every skin type is good for microblading. The beauty of shading is that it can be combined with microblading to achieve a realistic look. This lasts on the average of 6-12 months.
